Pain does change people. I never gave much thought about it but now when things have turned out to be this way, I finally can fathom the whole idea of pain. I mean, you cannot run away from getting hurt, although every day you keep telling yourself to never let yourself drown in agony again, but these are not the types of emotions you can simply shelter yourself from. We get hurt, and admit it, we hurt others too.
But it's pretty normal you know, you tend to be more cautious and alert after getting hurt, after all the pain is still there. For example, take pain as a type of music. At first, sad songs were the only tracks playing inside your heart, probably because you were still as fragile as glass, because there were too much to handle. Then as time passes by, the moment you achieve your infinite willpower, when everything is starting to make sense, well that's when you feel as if your heart is being thumped with the tracks of Martin Garrix.
The time for anger and hatred have finally arrived, leaving you with the most unfavorable, yet disgusting attitude of all. But you really can't help it, you just can't. You're not the person you used to be, the kind and sweet person you were. The way you think now is different. Negativity is a friend. Not that you like who you are now, but there's nothing you can do. You've changed.
And pain did it to you.
